backstory

diana is the only child of lawrence and alison gordon. for as long as she can remember her parents always fought, but they were never violent with one another. they simply did not get along. as they reached the verge of divorce diana and her parents' lives would change forever.her dad was taken by the jigsaw killer, and she and her mom were held hostage during this time. this event mentally scarred diana. turning from a sweet, loving girl into a distant and quiet child.after that night, she scarcely saw her father. her parents had divorced and her mother had taken her away. their relationship became rather strained, but they still care for one another. her mother was a different story. she became overbearing after the trauma of being kidnapped. she did her best, but they would fight more often than not when diana grew into a rebellious teenager.even after years she still suffered from ptsd from that night, she needed ways to cope. some of those ways were healthy. she liked writing, volunteering at animal shelters but she also found herself falling into bad habits. occasional drug use and alcohol use, harming herself, pushing people away. she knew that it wasn't healthy, but there weren't many others who could understand, or so she thought. when she was seventeen years old, her mother died in a car accident. a mix of drugs and alcohol found in her system. this left her with only one remaining parent. her father who she hadn't been close with in years. little does she know her father carries on jigsaw's legacy. becoming an apprentice to the same man who caused all of their trauma.

PERSONALITY

diana is very introverted. preferring to keep to herself rather than being around others for the most part. school was difficult for her. she found it extremely difficult to make friends after the trauma she had undergone. she felt as though she couldn't trust anyone anymore. always paranoid and afraid of others which sometimes reared it's head as anger. using it as a defense mechanism to push people away, but that was not her true nature. she secretly wished she was able to open up more to others, especially her parents. she wished she could confide in them but she had buried her own feelings so deep that she found it increasingly difficult to talk to them. she wished to be reassured and comforted, but most others just saw her as cold and uncaring. despite others assumptions, she cares deeply for others but she struggles to show it.
